Fico, Sandalo, Cardamomo, Garofano, Mirra, Muschio, Cedro
Nirvana presents a harmonious blend of fig and sandalwood, enriched with an enticing selection of supporting notes. Perfect for gentlemen who appreciate the art of fragrance and are proud of their grooming ritual. Originally released in June 2022 as a special edition for the Facebook group "O Lado Gourmet do Barbear", this fragrance now returns as a new regular collection.
Figs evoke a sense of natural sweetness and freshness. It was important to make it as close to nature as possible. It does not have an overly sweet/mature scent or a green scent like a fig leaf. It is more of a middle ground with balanced green and sweet tones. The heart of the fragrance is rich with warm and woody sandalwood. Then a touch of floral elegance from the carnation note, the spicy characteristics of cardamom, the resinous qualities of myrrh, the subtle animalic facet of musk, and lastly, the woody and earthy tones of cedarwood to anchor the fragrance.
Figs are among the oldest fruits known to man. It is not surprising that they are mentioned in various ancient writings. It is still interesting to see how different religions make more or less significant references to figs (whether it be fruit, leaf, or tree). In the Old Testament, Adam and Eve covered their nudity after eating the forbidden fruit. There is a story in the New Testament where Jesus cursed a barren fig tree. In the Quran, figs are considered one of the six fruits of paradise. But, even more importantly for our inspiration in choosing the name for this collection, Buddha attained enlightenment (Nirvana) under a fig tree. Secrets of the world.
The Nourishing Splash
The brand new Nourishing Splash was developed mainly to better serve our loyal customers abroad. For gentlemen who prefer a spray over balm and who unfortunately do not have access to our alcohol-based lotion. It is also suitable for those who care about the well-being of their skin and at the same time want an impeccable olfactory experience.
It has been carefully designed to offer an incredible post-shave experience, without the stickiness often characteristic of non-alcoholic splashes. This formula includes many of the same principles and benefits of Invigorating Splash. Thanks to its astringent properties, witch hazel takes on a leading role. It also contains all the other essential ingredients such as aloe, glycerin, betaine, sodium lactate, silk, rose water, and chamomile water, as well as the addition of plant collagen and panthenol, better known as pro-vitamin B5, for a truly nourishing experience.
