34 productsSemogue is a Portuguese brand of shaving brushes with a long tradition of craftsmanship, active since 1955 and known for the superior quality of its products.
Founded by Antonio Augusto da Silva Vieira, Semogue is still a family-run business today, based in Vila Nova de Famalicão, where it continues to produce each brush using artisanal methods and great attention to detail.
The brand's reputation is based on the combination of experience, innovation, and a deep respect for tradition, factors that have made it one of the leading references in the world of shaving brushes.
One of the strengths of Semogue shaving brushes is the wide variety available, suitable for different needs and preferences. The brand offers models in natural bristles, such as badger and boar, as well as in high-quality synthetic bristles.
Each type of bristle has unique characteristics that ensure a personalized shaving experience.
For example, badger bristles are appreciated for their softness and ability to retain water, ideal for rich lathers, while boar bristles become softer over time, making them perfect for those looking for a durable brush that improves with use.
Synthetic bristles, on the other hand, are valued for their versatility and are also suitable for vegans.
The handles of Semogue brushes are made from high-quality materials such as wood, resin, and acrylic, often featuring elegant finishes and details like the metal ring, which adds a distinctive touch to the design.
Iconic models like the 1305, the Galahad, and the Torga are highly appreciated by traditional shaving enthusiasts and stand out for their comfort and ergonomic grip.
Semogue is therefore a popular choice among those seeking durable and high-quality shaving brushes, made with particular attention to functionality and aesthetics, always providing a comfortable and precise shave.
