Make sure your hair is clean, 70% dry, and free of styling products, as they can interfere with the smoothing process. Plug in the brush and let it heat up to the desired temperature. Choose a heat setting suitable for your hair type. It is recommended to start with a lower temperature setting and increase it if necessary.
Before using any hot styling tool, apply our Heat Guard® Heat Protector spray to minimize heat damage. Divide your hair into manageable sections using clips or hair ties. This will make it easier to work through your hair and ensure that each section is styled properly.
Take a section of hair and position the heated brush underneath the section near the roots. Slowly and gently glide the brush down to the tips of the hair. Repeat this motion a few times to ensure that the heat is evenly distributed and that the hair is dry. Continue working through each section of your hair, one at a time, until you have styled all desired areas. After brushing your hair, you can further style it by adding volume, curls, or any other desired finishing touches.
Care
Hair tools can accumulate hair, dust, and product residue over time. To clean the tool, unplug it and wipe it down with a damp cloth. You can also use a small brush to remove any debris from the crevices.
If you are using a hot styling tool like a flat iron or curling iron, always use a heat protectant spray on your hair before proceeding with styling. This will help prevent damage to your hair and the tool.
When not in use, store the hair tool in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing it in a damp or wet location, as this can cause rust and damage.
When unplugging the hair tool, gently pull the plug rather than tugging on the cord. This will help prevent the cord from getting damaged or frayed.
Some hair tools, such as curling irons and flat irons, should not be used on wet hair. Always ensure that your hair is completely dry before using any hot styling tool.
